# Request time off in malibou

> A guide to easily request time off in malibou

> **Good to know**
>
> You can request different types of leaves — such as paid leave, RTT, sick leave, etc. — and the process is the same regardless of the type of time off you want to submit.

## 1️⃣ Make a leave request

* First log in to malibou
* You can make a leave request from different pages of the app by clicking “New request” on your dashboard, from your Planning or directly from your Leave page.
* A window will open:

*These three fields are required*

* Click **“Confirm”** — your request will appear in the list, and **an email notification will be sent to your manager** for validation.

## 2️⃣ View the summary of your requests

Once submitted, the **duration of your requested time off** is shown in the request summary table. You can click on that line to see more details about it.

## 3️⃣ See your absence on the team planner

After submitting your time-off request, the absence will automatically show up on the company planner under the “Members” tab. The days you’re off will be highlighted in purple.
